1. About This Agreement
This Consignor Agreement ("Agreement") is a contract between you ("Consignor," "you") and EasierSell, Inc. ("EasierSell," "we," "us"). It governs your use of the EasierSell service to consign items for sale through our network of vetted professional sellers ("Pro Sellers").
By submitting an item, joining our waitlist, or otherwise using the EasierSell consignment service, you agree to this Agreement, along with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to consign items with EasierSell.
In plain English:
This is the deal between you and us for selling your stuff. If you send us an item, you are agreeing to these terms. You need to be 18 or older.

2. How Consignment Works
2.1 You keep ownership until it sells
When you consign an item, you retain ownership of that item until it is sold to a buyer. You are granting EasierSell and the assigned Pro Seller the right to market, list, negotiate, and sell the item on your behalf. Ownership transfers directly from you to the buyer at the point of sale.
2.2 What we do for you
Once you submit an item and it is accepted, we assign a vetted Pro Seller who will, as applicable: photograph the item professionally, write and publish listings, set and adjust pricing, respond to and negotiate with buyers, and coordinate fulfillment and shipping. You can learn more about this process on our How It Works page.
2.3 Accepting items
We may accept or decline any item at our discretion, based on category, condition, authenticity, saleability, and other factors. Not every item is a fit for the service. If we decline an item, we will let you know.
In plain English:
It stays yours until someone buys it. In the meantime, your assigned pro does all the work — photos, listing, pricing, haggling, and shipping. We can also say no to items that are not a good fit.

3. Your Responsibilities as a Consignor
3.1 You own it and it is legit
You represent and warrant that you legally own each item you consign (or are authorized to sell it), that the item is authentic and not counterfeit, that it is not stolen, and that selling it does not violate any law or third-party right.
3.2 Accurate descriptions
You agree to describe each item honestly and to disclose known defects, damage, or issues. Accurate information helps your Pro Seller price and sell the item and protects you and the buyer.
3.3 Prohibited items
You may not consign items that are illegal, recalled, hazardous, counterfeit, or otherwise prohibited under our Terms of Service or applicable law. [Prohibited-items list to finalize with counsel]
3.4 Getting the item to us
You agree to make the item available for pickup or shipment as arranged. [Bulky-item logistics and pickup terms — finalize]
In plain English:
Only send things you actually own, that are real (not fakes), and that are legal to sell. Be honest about condition. We will sort out getting the item from you.

4. Pricing, Negotiation, and Minimum Price
4.1 Who sets the price
Your Pro Seller uses their expertise and market data to price your item competitively. Pricing may be adjusted over time to sell the item at the best achievable value.
4.2 Your minimum price
You may be able to set a minimum acceptable price for an item. [Minimum-price mechanics — finalize] If a minimum is set, the item will not be sold below it without your consent.
4.3 Negotiation authority
By consigning, you authorize your Pro Seller to negotiate with prospective buyers within the agreed pricing parameters and to accept a sale on your behalf.
In plain English:
Your pro prices your item to actually sell, using what they know about the market. You can set a floor so it never sells for less than you are okay with. See real examples on our Pricing & Payouts page.

5. Fees and Revenue Share
5.1 No upfront fees
There is no upfront fee to consign with EasierSell. We only earn when your item sells. If your item does not sell, you owe us nothing for our efforts (subject to Section 6 and any agreed return costs).
5.2 How the money splits
When your item sells, the sale proceeds are divided as follows: you receive [X% consignor share], and the remainder is retained by EasierSell and paid to your Pro Seller as the platform and service fee [Y% Pro Seller / Z% platform — finalize full split]. Your share is calculated on [the net sale price after buyer-side fees / gross sale price — finalize basis].
Illustrative sale breakdown
Percentages shown are placeholders for illustration only. See finalized figures on our Pricing & Payouts page.
5.3 What may be deducted
Certain third-party costs may be deducted from the sale proceeds before your share is calculated, which may include [marketplace/listing fees, payment processing, shipping — finalize]. All applicable deductions will be shown to you.
In plain English:
You pay nothing to start. When your item sells, you keep [X%] and we take a share to cover the pro's work and the platform. No sale, no fee. Full worked examples live on the Pricing & Payouts page.

6. Payouts

6.2 How you get paid
Payouts are made via [supported payout methods — finalize]. You are responsible for providing accurate payout details.
6.3 Your resale account
Your payouts and lifetime earnings are tracked in your EasierSell account — your resale closet — so you can see everything you have earned over time.
6.4 Taxes
You are responsible for any taxes owed on your earnings. EasierSell may issue tax forms as required by law [e.g., 1099-K where applicable — finalize].
In plain English:
When it sells, your money lands in your account within [Y business days]. Everything you earn is tracked in your resale closet. Taxes on what you make are your responsibility.
